This hand bears the name Belmondo, which inevitably evokes associations with the French film actor, yet at the same time its striped coloration recalls Daniel Buren’s remarkable work “Couleurs superposées, Acte II, 60,” an in situ work at the Musée Laforêt, Tokyo, from 1982.
The bolster is handcrafted with durable upholstery fabrics. Front and back side of the giant hand are assembled in diverse patches.
The cover has a zipper and is removable, dry-clean only. The bolster comes with a washable insert.
